# How to edit or deactivate a pet

Edit a pet to correct data, update health or complete Custom Fields.

## 🚀 Step by step
1. Open **Pets**.
2. Search by name, tutor or breed.
3. Open the pet profile and click **Edit**.
4. Update the required data.
5. Change status to **Inactive** when the pet should no longer be used.
6. Save the changes.

## ✅ Expected result
The pet profile is updated or inactive.
